Recently, Xu Zhenming's research group from the School of Environmental Science and Engineering at Shanghai Jiao Tong University published a research paper entitled "A method for using the residual energy in waste Li-ion batteries by regulating potential with the aid of overvoltage response” in the well-known academic journal Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences. The research paper proposed a new idea for using the residual energy in waste lithium-ion batteries for the first time, and constructed a mechanism model and method for battery potential regulation during the residual energy utilization process, opening up a new way for the utilization of residual energy in waste lithium-ion batteries.
